The Effect of DER, Firm Size, and CR on PBV with ROE as an Intervening Variable

Research aim: The study is intended to analyze the influence of debt-to-equity ratios, firm size, and current ratio on price-to-book value using return equity as an intervening variable.Design/Methodology/Approach: population in this research was basic materials sector companies listed Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 2020. Meanwhile, number samples 70, collected by purposive sampling. findings: This confirmed that DER had a good strong effect ROE. Firm size CR no considerable ROE significant positive PBV, while DER, impact PBV. In addition, susceptible being variable but not intervention variables.Theoretical contribution/Originality: (ROE) served study, previous studies, variables were intervened ROE.Practitioner/Policy implication: Researchers suggest investors can use other make investment decisions. also further develop broader objects, such sectors adding or replacing determine feasibility investing.Research limitation: scope relative, there many insignificances due limited used. Hence, increasing wider will be able strengthen research’s outcomes. Further must produce values affect question.
